Tell the provider where you see wet ground or odors and whether conditions change after rainfall or heavy water use. A wet spot alone does not establish the cause; surface drainage and the wastewater system both need consideration.
Pumping cannot answer every question
Repeated pumping without understanding why symptoms return can leave the underlying problem unresolved. Ask the evaluator how tank discharge, distribution and site conditions will be reviewed and what access is required.
Repair options depend on the property

A photo may help explain the concern, but cannot establish underground conditions or authorize a repair. On-site evaluation may be needed.
Should I drive over a wet area to inspect it?
Avoid loading or disturbing a suspected treatment area. Keep a safe distance from sewage and unstable ground; discuss safe access with the provider.
